This is compatibility evidence, not installation advice.
A documented control pathway is only one part of a safe, compliant retrofit.
What a confirmed result means
It means the cited manufacturer compatibility source explicitly lists the exact model or indoor/outdoor pair used for the result, with the interface product shown by that source.
What it does not mean
A result does not establish current product availability, electrical suitability, switchboard condition, existing controller revision, firmware state, damper or zone compatibility, cable condition, sensor requirements, site-specific configuration, commissioning requirements, refrigeration suitability or regulatory compliance.
No DIY pathway is implied
BecSpec does not provide terminal-to-terminal wiring instructions, PCB connection instructions, mains electrical procedures, DIP-switch settings, commissioning walkthroughs, interlock bypasses, refrigeration procedures or other field installation guidance. Where installation or electrical work requires an appropriately qualified or licensed person, this checker does not alter that requirement.
Absence is not incompatibility
“Not established” means the bounded evidence set cannot support a compatibility claim. It does not mean that no compatible product exists.
Verify before purchase or work
Confirm the exact indoor unit, outdoor unit, existing controller/zoning hardware and current manufacturer documentation with the product manufacturer or an appropriately qualified HVAC/electrical installer before purchase, alteration or commissioning.
