How matching works
Every result is produced by fixed rules you can read. No score, no weighting, no commercial influence on ranking.
Read the rules →Replacing a motor that's failed or specifying a new one — match by rated power, poles, voltage, frame and mounting, the specifications that decide whether it does the job. Vendor neutral, and honest about what the data can't tell you.

Read the rules →Published as open data, under a licence that permits commercial reuse.
See provenance →What the register omits, where family registrations blur model detail, and which checks you always need to make yourself.
Understand the gaps →Read the five figures off the nameplate — kW, poles, voltage, frame and mounting — and know which three you still have to confirm off the drawing.
Read the guide →Every power and pole combination on the register, with the frame sizes, brands and efficiency spread available at each.
See all ratings →132M is an IEC frame designation. The number — 132 — is the shaft centre height in millimetres, measured from the base of the feet to the middle of the shaft. The letter M is the frame length: a 132M motor is longer than a 132S of the same centre height and shorter than a 132L. Because IEC frame sizes are standardised, a 132M motor from one manufacturer bolts up the same way as a 132M motor from another.
Browse 132M frame motors →132S shares the same 132 mm shaft centre height as the 132M and 132L frames, but is the shortest of the three — a shorter overall length and closer-set foot mounting holes. It's common on lower-power motors within the 132 frame range.
Browse 132S frame motors →Start with rated power, pole count and voltage from the nameplate — those decide electrical and speed compatibility. Then match the IEC frame designation and mounting code, commonly B3 for a foot-mounted motor, since those two decide whether the replacement physically bolts in. Shaft dimensions and terminal box position are still worth checking against the manufacturer's drawing afterwards; they're not in the register BecSpec matches against.
Search 5.5 kW motors →B3 is the IEC code for a foot-mounted motor, bolted down through feet on its base — the most common arrangement. B5 and B14 are flange-mounted variants with no feet; B35 has both a flange and feet.
