GENFARM PANZER 540 K: aerial pre-harvest sorghum on hilly terrain.
For APVMA product 64995, BecSpec safely publishes the explicit hilly-terrain aerial variant for pre-harvest grain sorghum. It does not flatten the label’s general aerial, temperature and terrain instructions into one universal number.
Reviewed hilly-terrain rule
For current PubCRIS use SORGHUM × GRAIN SORGHUM - PRE HARVEST, aerial application on hilly terrain uses 30–80 L water/ha with droplets no smaller than COARSE, and the published variant is limited to air temperatures at or below 30°C.
The applicability conditions
- Production intent is not seed production.
- The crop is not stressed.
- Grain moisture is below 25%.
- Terrain is hilly.
- Air temperature is 30°C or lower.
The label also says to avoid aerial application below 35% relative humidity. BecSpec retains that as label context but does not promote the softer wording into a hard prohibition.
Why the non-hilly baseline is not published here
The label’s broader aerial guidance includes a minimum 20 L/ha and a separate increase in water output above 25°C. That interaction is intentionally held until it can be represented with a complete context-precedence model. The existence of this hilly-terrain page does not mean BecSpec has adjudicated every other aerial condition.
No aerial product dose has been inferred
The crop table labels its dose column as BOOM RATE / HA. BecSpec therefore does not copy that product-rate field into aerial dose authority. This page is limited to the safely adjudicated aerial hydraulic and droplet conditions.
Pre-harvest remains separate from post-harvest
Current PubCRIS separately identifies post-harvest sorghum use. BecSpec does not inherit the pre-harvest aerial rule into post-harvest regrowth or stubble. Cotton pre-harvest is also held until a clean exact current-use join is established.
