Yes: Enphase's Australia/New Zealand interoperability material explicitly supports IQ7 Series with IQ Battery 5P.
Grid-tied versus backup
Enphase distinguishes grid-tied storage from backup. Its current planning material supports IQ7 + IQ Battery 5P, while backup configurations add IQ System Controller 3 INT.
Why the system matters
With microinverters, the question is not a DC battery port on one string inverter. Gateway, communications, controller generation and the battery generation are part of the compatibility relationship.
