FoxESS H3 Smart not following the battery schedule?

FoxESS Australia lists H3 Smart as a current three-phase hybrid family with remote app monitoring. FoxCloud 2.0 documents powerful scheduling, but BecSpec does not assume every H3 Smart firmware exposes every FoxCloud control—verify the actual homeowner app first.

1. Confirm H3 Smart on the inverter label

Do not mix H3 Smart, H3 Pro, H1(G2) or legacy H1/AC1 guidance. They are separate product families in FoxESS Australia's current downloads.

2. Check whether Mode Scheduler is actually exposed

If FoxCloud 2.0 shows Mode Scheduler for the plant, verify the intended time block and work mode. FoxCloud documents Forced Charge and Forced Discharge as scheduler modes, but feature availability can depend on the purchased device/software scope.

3. Check minimum SOC and peak-shaving logic

FoxCloud documents minimum SOC protection and threshold-SOC behaviour in Peak Shaving. Those limits can stop normal discharge even while stored energy remains visible.

4. Check what happens outside scheduled periods

FoxCloud uses a Remaining Time Work Mode outside custom scheduler blocks. Make sure the apparent problem is not simply the fallback mode taking over.

5. If the controls are absent, verify—do not improvise

Missing scheduler controls are a model/firmware/app-support question for the installer or FoxESS, not a reason to enter installer menus or alter grid/meter configuration.
