GW5048-EM is already a low-voltage hybrid inverter. GoodWe documents a 48 V battery input and charge/discharge capability.
Battery compatibility
Voltage alone is not compatibility. The exact battery should appear on GoodWe's applicable battery list and any firmware/BMS conditions must be met.
Backup
GoodWe documents UPS-level switching for the EM platform, but the actual backed-up circuits and site configuration remain installation-specific.
