How programmable is Sigenergy SigenStor?
Current Australian Sigenergy documentation makes SigenStor one of the stronger manual-scheduling platforms BecSpec has reviewed.
Time-based Control is explicit
The current SigenStor user manual says charging and discharging periods are manually set in the mySigen App. It explicitly describes overnight charging during low grid-price periods and discharge during higher-price periods.
Multiple periods are supported
Sigenergy's current Australian app/installer documentation states that up to 24 charge, discharge or self-consumption periods can be configured.
What happens outside a period?
The manual distinguishes scheduled periods from non-charging/non-discharging time. That matters if you expect the battery to keep following house load between time blocks.
Before buying
Ask the installer to show the exact homeowner-visible Time-based Control screen on the quoted generation and confirm which settings remain editable after commissioning.
