What replaces a Davey RainBank 1?
Davey replacement literature identifies RB2/R for RainBank 1 installations using an external/surface pump and RB2/SR for installations using a sump/submersible pump.
The installation type matters
“RainBank 1” alone is not enough to choose between the two replacement paths. Identify whether the existing system uses an external surface pump or a submersible/sump pump before treating either model as the relevant successor.
What this does not prove
The published succession relationship does not by itself prove plumbing layout, pump suitability, electrical condition, pipework, valves or site compliance. Those remain installation checks.
