Does the vehicle manufacturer explicitly support bidirectional operation for the requested function?
A car is not a usable V2X system by itself. BecSpec separates vehicle bidirectional capability, compatible bidirectional charger, demonstrated vehicle↔charger interoperability, and current Australian market/network availability.
For BecSpec, a positive V2H or V2G result needs more than a connector type, ISO 15118 support or a manufacturer announcement. The exact vehicle or defensible family needs explicit bidirectional evidence, and the charger relationship must be separately established.

Is there a bidirectional EVSE that supports that vehicle architecture and function?
Has the vehicle and charger combination actually been demonstrated, approved or otherwise evidenced together?
Is the hardware currently obtainable and is an Australian installation/network pathway established? BecSpec keeps this separate from technical capability.
The current evidence-rich Australian cohort includes legacy CHAdeMO bidirectional paths for the Nissan LEAF and Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV / Eclipse Cross PHEV families. These have real Australian bidirectional evidence, but the historically demonstrated Wallbox Quasar 1 pathway is legacy/discontinued, so BecSpec does not present it as a simple current retail installation.
Newer CCS2 V2G/V2H platforms are emerging, but BecSpec does not convert “CCS2”, “ISO 15118 capable” or “V2G ready” marketing into a compatible-car claim until an explicit vehicle↔charger relationship and Australian pathway are evidenced.
Generic “V2G compatible cars” tables often mix V2L, planned support, overseas capability and current Australian availability. The checker instead starts with your vehicle and reports the evidenced state of V2H/V2G separately from ordinary AC charging and other smart-charging features.
